Muckdogs Baseball Club is proud to announce the
Inaugural 16U Summer Team for 2012!

For the first time in the history of the organization, the Muckdogs will have a 16U summer team.  The team will play a 50 to 55 game schedule between late May to late July.

Robbie Wickware, former collegiate baseball player and former Fallon High Varsity Coach, will manage the club.  The team will be comprised of players from throughout the Northern Nevada area.  McQueen High School will be the team’s home field.  The team will be overseen by Muckdogs General Manager Bret Pagni.

The entire summer the 16U team will swing wood bats and play in mainly wood bat games. The team will play in three tournaments over the summer, including the Muckdogs Memorial Day Tournament, the Muckdogs 4th of July Tournament, as well as the Fairfield TC Father’s Day Tournament.  Outstanding programs such as Golden Spikes Baseball, EDH Vipers, West Lane Mets, Bay Area Warriors, Eureka Falcons, Team APS, Advanced Diamond Performance and North Shore Twins (Canada) are all on this year’s schedule.

Our goal with this team is to get our players exposure to college coaches and professional scouts, while having them play a truly competitive schedule that will make them better over the summer.  We will also spend the entire summer teaching our players, coaching them every pitch, in an effort to get them to learn the game at the highest level possible.  Our club will play hard always, show the game the love and respect it deserves, while respecting all of our opponents.
