Our Mission

The Muckdogs Baseball Club is dedicated to providing an environment that is conducive to positive athletic, academic and social development of young men.

We are committed to helping our young athletes compete on the high level baseball teams within our organization, play collegiate baseball, and if fortunate enough, play professional baseball.

The goal for our athletes is to use baseball as a tool to develop their education and life skills, which will help them be successful throughout the rest of their lives.

Our History

The Muckdogs Baseball Club was established in 2003 with two teams, a 12U and 14U team.  Our organization now has fourteen teams in it, and is one of the most competitive organizations throughout the Northern Nevada and Northern California area.

We rely upon our current group of players and coaches to represent our organization, continuing its tradition of hard-nosed, heads-up baseball.

When you see a Muckdog team step on the field to compete, you can always be guaranteed that they will play hard every pitch and will respect the game, as well as their opponent.  We have a staff of excellent coaches who all strive to help the athletes they coach become better players, as well as better citizens.

We will continue to strive to look for the best student-athletes, who come from quality families, between the ages of eight to nineteen in the greater Northern Nevada area.

Since the inception of our program, we have helped over 300 players go on to play college baseball.  67 players from our organization have advanced to the NCAA Division One level, 48 of our players have advanced to the NCAA Division Two level.  We have had fourteen players drafted by MLB organizations, and have had eleven players sign contracts to play professional baseball.  Three of those players who have signed professional contracts, have made it to the Major League level.  We look forward to helping more players reach their goals in the near future.
