Spring Season Starting Up

02/15/2022

We have started the new year with some good momentum.  Things are starting to feel normal again.  Despite it being a long road back for our organization, our teams are starting to play at the level they were playing at prior to everything happening two years ago.

Our 9U-14U teams are extremely competitive, which of course has the players, parents and coaches happy.  The implementation of our Black teams at the 10U, 12U and 14U levels has helped us develop depth on all of our rosters.  It has also given game reps to kids who normally wouldn’t have gotten them, being newer to the organization. We are pumped about the loaded schedule of tournaments we have through the rest of the 2022.  What is most exciting is that we will only have to leave Northern Nevada one time between now and early November with the 9U-14U teams.  There are a ton of great tournaments being hosted locally by various tournament organizations, who we have developed relationships with.

Our 16U and 18U Spring Teams are entering their third season of play.  The first season got stopped short, three weeks into the season due to the pandemic.  Last season was our first true season and it was very productive and positive.  Like with anything new, though, we continue to work out the hiccups, take feedback while working towards improving the way we run our spring teams.

This upcoming season we have our strongest rosters yet, our best game schedules, and our best coaching staffs to date. Our practice schedule and strength training regime allows us to be efficient in a group environment, while giving our players time to do their individual work and focus on their academics.
